LSTC operates a bit differently than your traditional tutoring center.  Since we are a non profit organization and charge no fees for our services, we utilize volunteer tutors comprised of community members and concerned family members to provide one on one tutoring to our struggling students. All students must be prescreened by our dyslexia consultant prior to being approved for the program. All tutors must attend an initial training seminar prior to beginning to work with a student.

Due to the high demand for volunteer tutors, we may ask that you do your part to help find someone willing to work with your child. This could be a family member, neighbor, friend, fellow church member, or yourself.  We will provide all the training and support for that individual.
